In order to fully unlock the potential of being able to alter your reality, you must be deeply reflective of yourself, and brutally honest.
Every idea we come up with about what happens after death is just another attempt at plugging in a nightlight into an otherwise dark and mysterious reality. What's interesting is, the nightlight is very real, if you believe it is.
Imagine if you were pretty much never wrong ever again for the rest of your life. All you have to do is learn this one simple phrase, and repeat it frequently: “I don’t know.”
But Kurtis, times used to be so much simpler back in the day. To which I say, “Duh.” No matter what time you are in, the times before then were simpler.
This is a difficult mindset to live with, I find myself settling back in my old ways. Like a prisoner, dreaming he is free, only to realize it’s just a dream, and dreading waking up.
And if they can get their hands on this person would they not kill him? Would they not do everything they could to kill this person?
Is fear just a word we made up to mean a lack of joy, or is joy a word we made up to mean a lack of fear?
I thought, but what if the rabbit would have lived? Would it have been ok then? Would I feel guilty for causing all the pain and confusion for the rabbit if I had saved its life?
It’s not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste most of it. Life is long, long enough to accomplish the greatest things, if you use it well. When life is wasted living carelessly, not being spent on worthy causes, death finally comes knocking and we realize life has passed us by without us noticing.
