What are we?
There is one question that must be answered before any other question is answered, and how you answer it will affect every thought you have, every word you speak, and every action you take. People often don't ask this question of themselves, because the answer might seem too obvious. Though, it goes much deeper than you might think. This question affects every single living being in the universe, even if they don't have the capability of asking it. The base question that must be answered before any other is simply: What am I?
This is the foundation question. The moment anything pops into being, this question is asked. From there, other questions can be asked and continue to shape reality. The baseline with which you build reality is the answer to the question, "What am I?"
This question affects even the things that cannot ask it. A dog is affected by this question as much as a human. The difference being, with a dog there is only one answer to the base question, and there are a limited number of follow up questions that can be asked that could shape a dogs reality. This is true of dogs, cats, spiders, fish, trees, grass, and dirt. Even inanimate objects are affected by this question, there are just varying degrees of follow up questions.
Humans are the exception to how this question typically works. We are the only beings that get to decide how we answer that question, have multiple answers at once, and are allowed to change our answers at will.
For some the base answer to their question is their occupation, others the answer is their religion. Some identify as an emotional state, "I am a happy person." Some identify as a belief, "I am important." You can identify as all of them at once, "I am an important, happy, christian, brick layer." The answer to the question is up to the person asking it of themselves.
Once you answer that question, every other question is filtered through it. If your base answer is, "I am kind." Your thoughts, words, and actions will reflect this. If you are then asked the question "Should I be generous to those that have less than me?" After running this through the filter of "I am kind." Your answer would likely be yes. However if you ask that of someone who's base is, "I am a business man." Then the answer would likely be no.
Unfortunately not everyone understands that they can alter their answer to the base question. Then if they do know it can be altered, they may not be honest with their answer. In order to fully unlock the potential of being able to alter your reality, you must be deeply reflective of yourself, and brutally honest.
